Stonehill International School will seek accreditation from two globally recognised authorities in education: the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) and the Council of International Schools (CIS). The International Baccalaureate (IB) Organisation offers three programmes: The PYP (Primary Years Programme), MYP (Middle Years Programme) and the DP (Diploma). The IB specifies that all three programmes be introduced and authorised in three stages: the investigation stage, followed by the implementation stage, culminating in full IB authorisation. The entire process of authorisation takes a minimum of three years for PYP and MYP respectively and two years for the DP. Stonehill will open with PYP and MYP in the investigation stage, moving into implementation stage. Diploma authorisation will be obtained at the end of the year the first D1class begins study. Stonehill International School Bangalore is on course to be the best among all international schools in Bangalore, India and will be the only IB School in Bangalore offering all three IB programmes.
